Our company Vinod Industries Pvt Ltd is situated in the heart of Faridabad on a one acre plot. It was started 65 Years ago in the year 1959, by Late Sh. Vinod Agarwal, a mechanical engineering graduate from Notre Dame University U.S.A. He worked in Hindustan Motors for a few years before starting the company. The company produced tractor parts & made machine tools till 1985. In 1985, Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal, the current MD, joined the company after graduating from IIT Delhi as a Mechanical Engineer.
The company diversified into gear cutting tools & by 1990 was a pioneer in producing gear Shaving cutters.
We are renowned for reverse engineering of gear samples & making cutters for them.
Our design capability of gear shaper cutters is world class. Chamfering tools were developed 20 years ago.Today, we are sole suppliers of these tools for companies like NAW, Faridabad who have approx fifty Samputensilli-type machines & make gears for TATA motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Daimler Benz (Mercedes) etc.
All cutters are manufactured on European Precision machinetools like WMW, MAAG, MC3 etc. Two years ago a CNC Gear Shaving Cutter Grinder Hurth SRS 405 was commissioned.
Our latest addition in February 2024 is a CNC Lead & Profile Tester, HARBIN make.
